Hours

Office hours are by appointment only.  Daytime and evening (limited) hours are available.  Please call or email to schedule your appointment.

Treatment generally begins with 1-2 assessment sessions followed by regular (generally weekly) therapy sessions.  The assessment session(s) will allow for gathering detailed information about your presenting problem, history, and diagnosis.  This enables you and Dr. Kaplan to generate a collaborative treatment plan and to discuss treatment recommendations.  All appointments are 45 minutes in length.

Payment Information
While Dr. Kaplan does not participate with most insurance providers, you will be provided with a receipt that you may submit to your insurance for reimbursement purposes.  Dr. Kaplan is currently accepting clients with Penn Behavioral Health Insurance (managed by Quest) and regular Medicare Part B. Many clients opt to use their Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Heath Savings Accounts (HSA) to pay for treatment.

Payment may be made by credit card, cash or check.

Evaluations are priced at $200 and occur during the first session (45 minutes).  After that, all 45-minute individual therapy sessions are $155; all 45-50 minute couples sessions are $160.

Currently, all sessions are being held by Telehealth (online).

Call to discuss your treatment needs and Dr. Kaplan will be happy to answer any questions you might have before sessions begin.

Good Faith Estimate:
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have  insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical  items and services.
• You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
• Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
• If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
• Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit  www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
